This week Animal Planet has released on dvd Lions, which contains four wildly fun shows: The Lion's Share, White Lions, A Lion Called Christian and Rogue Lions.
If you have a love for animals I highly recommended watching this dvd just for the A Lion Called Christian episode. Honestly I had never heard of this story but it is the story behind this very popular YouTube video below.

I won't lie, I cried in a good way. It is such a touching story. Also I had no clue back in the 70's people were allowed to just buy exotic animals as pets and walk around the streets of London with them. Honestly I couldn't believe what I was seeing at times.

I saw this video when it came on TV about a month ago. Made my heart feel so good!
I was also amazed that people could just have an exotic animal living with them. Although I shouldn't be, I had a friend who owned a Reises Monkey that lived in a huge cage in her living room. She let him out from time to time, until he got mean...and I mean MEAN!
I have watched that video a gazzillion times, no... seriously... I am not exagerating. Okay, I know you have already told me a hundred million times to stop exagerating... What? You haven't? Okay, I would still love to win! : ) Hugs! onemorebaby
